Pavilion Discount Beverage

The only place I've shopped for alcoholic beverages since moving to Myrtle Beach has been Pavillion Discount Beverage.  I mean, aside from the stray six-pack or bottle of wine that I've thrown in the shopping cart at the grocery store; I've not set foot in another liquor store.

No matter how much time has passed since my last visit to the Beer and Wine side of Pavillion; I still get treated like a "regular" and I'm recognized immediately.  My visits are once, maybe twice a month and so I like the fact that I don't have to re-introduce myself each time.

I make my own hooch...not as in backyard moonshine, but as in Kahlua and so that's usually the only time I venture into the side of the store which sells the hard stuff.
Each time that I've gone in there, I've found over the top helpfulness.  I'm always amazed and WoW'd by great customer service no matter where I find it and that's what I've always gotten at Pavillion.

The first time that I went in and mentioned that I wanted to buy a Vodka for my homemade Kahlua; I received a whole lesson in Vodkas and special tips to make my foray into the homemade liquor realm a great success.

I guess what I appreciate most is the fact that the owners recognize the advantage of repeat business.  I have never been directed to items which were more expensive.  Ever.
In fact, the first time I went in to get Champagne for my Mimosa recipe; I was advised to go cheaper.
Not that being steered towards low end products is a sign of a great store, but I guess my point is that they are balanced and they have always shown a genuine desire for me to be satisfied with their products and their service.
And I am!

Looks Like a Decent Bike Week!

The folks sitting on the side of the road watching the bikers is so cute!
